El futuro está escrito… Un 22 de Diciembre de un pasado 2002 nos abandonaba y se llevaba su magia. Joe Strummer nos dejó mucho más de lo que imaginamos, un vanguardista inquieto y explorador. Formó allá por los '90s The Mescaleros y nos regaló una de sus tantas canciones. Quizás salgas de un festival, caminando solo y ahí la veas Coma Girl… junto a Joe.

Año 1977, la dupla Iggy Pop-David Bowie se une en Berlín para darle forma a dos de los discos más legendarios del rock: The Idiot y Lust for life. En este último se encuentra el tema homónimo, que años más tarde coronaría la banda de sonido de Trainspotting (una película también legendaria), y que hoy sigue siendo un furioso canto a la vida.

PULP - COMMON PEOPLE

Si me preguntaran cual es el tema pop/rock más alegre y festivo que conozco diría sin dudarlo "Common people". Tiene todo de atractivo; una melodía pegajoza, un ritmo acelerado y bien disco, una voz seductora y extravagante... He aquí esta obra maestra del señor Jarvis Cocker:
